Hi, welcome to Functional Fangirl! My name is Karen and this is my passion project. 

As a passionate sports fan and freelance graphic designer, creating Functional Fangirl was the perfect way to combine everything I love. It is where passion meets practicality. 

My designs are inspired by my favourite sports teams, players, and moments, as well as my favourite things in the pop culture sphere. Designing with my favourite things in mind has allowed me to connect with incredible communities of people who love a lot of the same things I do, and it has changed my life for the better.

My focus on my designs is a mix of subtle designs that express what you love and bold, standout creations. I am unapologetically loud about my passions, and I hope my designs will make you feel comfortable to be the same. Each and every day I am discovering new passions that continue to inspire my work, so Functional Fangirl is always a work in progress.
